The story of Hoa Sen begins with the inspiring journey of our founder, Ngân Trần. Originally from the Mekong Delta of South Vietnam, she arrived in Finland facing a completely new culture and a daunting language barrier. Starting with zero knowledge of Finnish, she taught herself the language from scratch, driven purely by the desire to communicate with her customers and share her culinary passion. Through immense hardship and dedication, she built Hoa Sen to fulfill her ultimate goal: bringing the authentic, heartwarming dishes of Southern Vietnam to the Finnish community. Every meal served here is a taste of her resilience and heritage.
