Since the summer of 2022, Hoa Sen has been serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Koivukylä. Our restaurant is a vibrant addition to the multicultural tapestry of Vantaa.
From September 2024 now on, we’re excited to continue offering a unique taste of Vietnam in a larger and even more welcoming spot right next to Lidl Koivukylä.

Hoa Sen, named after the Vietnamese lotus flower, symbolizes purity and resilience—a perfect reflection of our dedication to our craft.
Our menu features traditional dishes from the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam, prepared with love and authenticity. Each dish is crafted with recipes passed down through generations and a commitment to quality ingredients.
Meet the Team
Hoa Sen is a dedicated project of Ngan Tran and her husband, who have called Finland home for over a decade.
Ngan, the main chef, has been passionate about cooking since she was a child. Inspired by her family’s culinary traditions, she learned to cook by participating in preparing meals for family gatherings and celebrations. Her husband supports her in the kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards.

After a period of relentless effort, our move to a larger venue next to Lidl Koivukylä is an exciting step forward. We aim to provide a cozy and comfortable space, featuring distinctive Vietnamese design. Hoa Sen is on a mission to bring Vietnamese cuisine to the world.
